Ron serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PlanGiv and brings extensive experience in the financial services industry in Canada to this role. He has served as Vice-President and Chief Accountant with Manulife Financial where he was responsible for company-wide accounting and reporting policies. manulife is a publicly traded life insurance company offering financial protection and wealth management products in Canada, the united States and Asia.
Prior to joining Manulife, Ron was a Franchise Owner, Branch Manager and Financial Planner with Money Concepts, an international franchise-based firm of independent financial planners.
Ron has also held several positions of corporate financial responsbility with some of Canada's most respected life insurance firms, such as the Empire Financial Group, where he was Vice-President & Controller for the company.
Active in the Kingston community, Ron is a former member and director with the Kingston-Cataraqui Rotary Club, and has served on the leadership team of the United Way as a Co-Chairman, Corporate Division.
