Our Mission

The Charitable Gift Funds Canada Foundation (CGFCF) is a registered charitable public foundation with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Our mission is to promote and facilitate giving by individuals and organizations while expanding their knowledge in the field of philanthropy in general.

• By mid 2010, CGFCF had accepted more than $137 million in charitable contributions since its founding. 
• Total value of assets under management in CGFCF gift funds - $110 million.
• Donors have recommended more than $17 million in grants & transfers to more than 300 deserving charities across Canada since 2005.

Our charitable gift fund program enables donors to make recommendations concerning the investment of their philanthropic dollars and the grants they wish to have disbursed in support of charities and causes that interest them.
